DAY 02:DIBRUGARH - ROING (05-06 Hrs Approx)
Arrive at Dibrugarh Airport.Overnight stay at Roing
Roing: Roing is a census town in Lower Dibang Valley district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.The only town under Idu Mishmi dominated areas, has Mehao wild life sanctuary, Sally lake, Mehao lake and Mayudia mountain pass that remains covered with snow during peak winter. The town, located at the foothill of the Mishmi Hill is lively with friendly people.
DAY 03: ROING - SIGHTSEEING
Morning after breakfast go sightseeing at Roing Visit Tribal Villages.Whole day sightseeing.Overnight stay at Roing.
This day is entirely dedicated to the sightseeing of Lakes and Idu tribal Villages which include Kunino, Abali and Abango. These villages are a perfect example of social bonding and unity among the local population.
DAY 04: ROING - MAYODIA PASS (56 Kms) - ROING
Morning after breakfast head for Mayodia Pass on the Indo – China Border.Whole day excursion at Mayodia Pass.Overnight stay at Roing.
Mayodia Pass: Mayodia pass is situated at an altitude of 7000feet. It is named after Maya, a Nepali girl who missing in the snow and could not be traced out. It is an ideal trekking destination and paradise for bird watcher as many endangered species are recorded including Tragopan. The scenic beauty of the snow clapped Mayodia during winter is eye-catching. Mayodia is 56 kms from Roing, the district head quarter of Lower Dibang Valley
DAY 05: ROING - TEZU - TINSUKIA (4-5 Hrs Approx)
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and head for Tinsukia.Visit Tezu on the way.
Overnight stay at Tinsukia.
Tezu, a small town that boasts of beautiful rivers and valleys, is located in Lohit district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Mishmi tribes are the early inhabitants of this land and their history dates back to the period of the epic Mahabharata. Many other ancient tribes live here and Tezu is vibrant with the traditions followed by all these tribes.
DAY 06: TINSUKIA - DIBRU SAIKHOWA NATIONAL PARK - DIBRUGARH (02 Hrs Approx)
Morning after breakfast go to Dibru Saikhowa National Park.Evening head to Dibrugarh.Overnight at Dibrugarh.
Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is located at about 12 km north of Tinsukia town of Assam covering an area of 350 km. It is also a biosphere reserve. The park is bounded by the Brahmaputra and Lohit rivers in the north and Dibru River in the south. It is situated in Dibrugarh and Tinsukia district of Assam. It mainly consists of moist mixed semi-evergreen forests, moist mixed deciduous forests, canebrakes and grasslands. It is the largest Salix swamp forest in north east India. Situated in the flood plains of the Brahmaputra and the Lohit, at an altitude of 118 m above sea level, Dibru-Saikhowa is a haven for many endangered species. Due to the auto stocking by the Brahmaputra and Dibru River, it is rich in fish diversity.
DAY 07: DIBRUGARH - DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from hotel. Head to Dibrugarh Airport railway station for journey back with good memories
