How do I confirm a reservation?

We will assign one exclusive Travel Counselor to process your reservation. Once the hotels / itinerary and the rates have been finalized, the counselor would send a proforma invoice listing the amount payable, reservation details and the package inclusions & exclusions. If you are satisfied with the details we will start to process the reservation


How much Advance do I pay and when?
We would need 20- 30% as advance payment to process the reservation. After we receive the confirmations and payment time limits from respective hotels, we would inform you on the final payment schedule, which would vary from one hotel to another, which may also vary depending on seasonality and the destination.


What is a Confirmation Voucher?
Once the reservation is confirmed and the advance amount is received, we will send you a final itinerary with hotel details and room categories booked for you, detailing all the details pertaining to the particular reservation. Later, when full payment is made, we will send you final confirmation voucher with driver name number, vehicle details etc.

How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
The hotel confirmation voucher sent by us would have confirmation number/ name of person who confirmed reservation along with the hotel details. This will be kept with the driver/ guide.


Do I need to reconfirm my booking with the hotel directly?
No, a copy of the hotel confirmation voucher issued by us is also sent to the hotel/s. However, if you are keen in doing so, you are most welcome to cross check on your own.


How long does it take to get a confirmation?
24 to 48 hours.


Changing / Cancelling a Reservation
What is your cancellation policy for hotel reservations?
If the reservation is cancelled / modified, it is subject to terms and conditions levied by the respective hotel/s. This policy is not uniform and depends on various factors such as the seasonality, the duration between the cancellations / modifications and the check in date, the kind of rate on which the reservation was made. All these conditions are applied by the hotels and not My Voyage. In case of modifications / cancellations we would charge a 10 % processing fee.
