DAY 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (03 Hrs Approx)
Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station.Proceed for Shillong.Shillong is called 'Scotland of the East". En-route visit Umiam Lake or Barapani Lake, Water Skiing, Water scooter & other water sports activities. Evening you can go for shopping at Police Bazar.Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong
DAY 02: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE
After breakfast proceed to Cherrapunjee.On the way to Cherrapunjee you can visit Shillong peak and Elephant falls.Cherrapunjee is a land of wonderful waterfalls and beautiful valleys.Some of the main attractions are the Ramakrishna Mission Museum, First Presbyterian Church, Mawsmai Fall, Nohkalikai Falls, and Eco Park etc.
Mawsmai caves near Cherrapunji are an experience in itself, the limestone caves are well lit up. But if you want to thrill yourself more, climb up to the caves hitch are not lit up, they are guaranteed to spook you as one has to crawl their way in.Evening free for leisure.Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.
DAY 03: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG DAWKI
After breakfast proceed to visit Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia. The main attraction are living Root Bridge and Balancing rock.After lunch proceed to Dawki. Dawki is a small town in Jaintia hills district.The main attraction is the Umngot River. Dawki is known for Indo-Bangladesh border.Evening back to Shillong.Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.
DAY 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA (05 hrs Approx)
After breakfast head to Kaziranga. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Kaziranga National Park in the Golaghat and Nagaon Districts of the state of Assam, India. The sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a World Heritage Site.
DAY 05: KAZIRANGA – JUNGLE ACTIVITY
After breakfast go to visit orchid garden, tea garden. After having lunch go for Jeep safari.. Evening one can enjoy traditional dance (Own Cost). Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
DAY 06: KAZIRANGA – JORHAT – MAJULI (06 Hours Approx)
Morning after breakfast proceed to Majuli via Jorhat. Overnight stay at Majuli.
Majuli is the world's largest river island and it attracts tourists from all over the world. Among one of the most surreal places in India, Majuli is also a strong contender for a place in UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Mostly inhabited by Tribals, the culture of Majuli is unique and quite interesting and is one of the key reasons why people love this place so much. It is also called the cultural capital of Assam. The festivals celebrated here are all joyous and vibrant. The main festival in the town of Majuli is called Raas and witnessing it is an interesting spectacle.
DAY 07: MAJULI - JORHAT
Morning after breakfast go sightseeing of Majuli. Evening move back to Jorhat. Overnight stay at Jorhat.
DAY 08: JORHAT – MOKOKCHUNG (05 Hrs Approx)
After breakfast head for Mokokchung. Overnight stay at Mokokchung.
Mokokchung is the Land of the Ao Nagas. Almost all the Ao’s are Christians, but they still maintain their old customs and traditions.
DAY 09: MOKOKCHUNG – LONGKHUM - UNGMA
After breakfast visit the two ancient villages of the Ao Nagas. Overnight stay at Mokokchung.
After breakfast proceed to Longkhum. An old Naga saying goes ‘ A single visit to Longkhum is not enough, for your soul stays behind the first time and you have to return there once more to get it back. This saying springs from the fact that Rhododendrons adorn the hillocks, providing a majestic sight during full bloom.
After lunch visit Ungma, this is the oldest and largest of all Ao Naga Villages and the secong largest in Nagaland. It is the first village founded by the Ao Nagas when they migrated from Sangtam Naga territory. The rich Ao Culture & Tradition is jealously guarded and practiced even today and the place is considered to be a living museum of the traditions of the tribe.
DAY 10: MOKOKCHUNG – KOHIMA (05 Hrs Approx)
After breakfast proceed to Kohima. Overnight stay at Kohima.
Kohima is the capital of Nagaland, Kohima is not only rich in natural wealth but it also contains a number of villages that tourists can visit. Although originally the home land of the Angami Nagas, Kohima is now home for all Nagas because of its administrative status.
DAY 11: KOHIMA – KHONOMA - DZULEKIE
After breakfast head to Khonoma Village. After lunch head to Dzulekie. Evening back to Kohima. Overnight stay at Kohima.
Khonoma village house nature’s pristine beauty in the form of its alder trees, terraces carves out of its hilly slopes and the Khonoma Nature Conservation Tragopan Sanctuary (KNCS). This is almost a virgin territory for bird watchers, animals watchers and botanist who have the entire area to explore and discover.
Dzulekie is a beautiful valley located few kilometers from Khonoma Village. Mithun or bison has been the witness of the Naga Culture and Civilization over the centuries. From embellishing headdresses to house walls,from being domesticated to being hunted, these magnificent animals have found their way to being dubbed as the state animal of Nagaland. The stream that cuts through its terrain provides habitat to a rare species of Rainbow Trout.
DAY 12: KOHIMA – SIGHTSEEING
Morning after breakfast drive to Touphema Tourist Village. Visit Naga Heritage Village,Kohima Cathedral if time permits.
DAY 13: KOHIMA – DIMAPUR DEPARTURE (03 Hrs Approx)
Morning after breakfast drive to Dimapur Airport for Journey back with great adventure stories to tell.
