Explore the best of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh on this exciting 10-day Northeast India tour starting and ending in Guwahati. The journey takes you through the scenic hill stations, waterfalls, villages, wildlife and high-altitude landscapes of the region.

Begin your trip from Guwahati to Shillong, visiting beautiful Umiam Lake and exploring Shillong's vibrant Police Bazaar. Discover the natural wonders of Cherrapunji (Sohra), including Nohkalikai Falls, Arwah Cave, Dainthlen Falls and other spectacular waterfalls.

Continue to Mawlynnong and Dawki, where you can experience the famous Living Root Bridge and the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. The journey then takes you to Kaziranga National Park, where you can enjoy a thrilling jeep safari and explore the region's rich wildlife.

From Kaziranga, travel towards Dirang and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, experiencing the stunning Himalayan landscapes along the way. Visit Sela Pass, Jaswant Garh War Memorial and Nuranang Falls, followed by an excursion to Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake, subject to permits and weather conditions.

The final part of the journey takes you through Bomdila before returning to Guwahati. End your Northeast adventure with a visit to the revered Kamakhya Temple before your departure.

Hotels were good and clean, Tour was awsome, Swift Dzire for 4 pax was a bit uncomfortable as provided vehicle had some seat Design issues which was done by driver. Apart from that, really enjoyed the tour and 5 star for hotels at Shillong, Cherrajunjee and Guwahati.

They told us 3star hotel accommodation but hotels was 4star standard. The car condition, Diver (as a person and tour guide) was awesome. They everytime was available on phone, even in late night. Excellent service provided with great choice for stay in each of the locations, neat and clean Maruti Dzire car & to say the least but most impressive was Benoy Boro the driver who was disciplined , very  courteous , helpful in all aspects and trustworthy always. . Excellent service by Aparupa Saikia the business owner and the My Voyage team for great planning with a eye to detail , very reasonable budgeting for the trip . The North East region of India comprises eight states - Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Amongst these eight states, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura are called the 'Seven Sisters of India' due to their interdependence on each other. These states have multiple similarities in social, economic and political aspects.However, geographically, Sikkim is not a contiguous part of the North East region, as it is separated by the Siliguri corridor/Chicken's neck corridor.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK NORTH EAST TOUR?

Although in Mawlynnong, the weather is pleasant throughout the year, it's ideal to book your North East Package during the monsoon. Cherrapunji being the wettest place on the earth, the village receives a huge amount of rainfall, and therefore, turns absolutely picturesque with lush greenery all around.If you want to visit Kaziranga National Park, November to April is the best time. To visit Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh people starts to go from September onwards to May even June also. But we suggest to avoid the monsoon season as there are high chances of landslides during monsoon season.
