Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your scenic drive towards Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its population of the one-horned rhinoceros.En route, enjoy the beautiful countryside of Assam with tea gardens, paddy fields, and rural landscapes. Stop at the sacred Maha Mrityunjay Temple, home to one of the tallest Shiva lingams in the world. Continue your journey to Kaziranga and check in to your resort.
Overnight Stay: Kaziranga
Start the day with an early morning Elephant Safari (subject to availability and forest department regulations) in the central range of Kaziranga, offering excellent opportunities to spot the famous one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffalo, swamp deer, and various bird species.
Return to the resort for breakfast. Later, proceed for a Jeep Safari in one of the park’s ranges such as Central, Western, or Eastern Range, each offering unique wildlife viewing experiences.
Afternoon: Visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park to explore Assam’s rich biodiversity, orchid collections, and ethnic cultural displays.
Overnight Stay: Kaziranga
After breakfast, drive towards Nimati Ghat and board a ferry to Majuli, the world’s largest inhabited river island and the cultural heartland of Assamese Vaishnavism.
Upon arrival and check-in, explore some of Majuli’s renowned Satras:
- Auniati Satra
- Kamalabari Satra
- Samaguri Satra (famous for traditional mask-making)
Visit local Mishing tribal villages to experience the island’s unique culture, traditional stilt houses, and handicrafts.
Evening: Enjoy a peaceful sunset over the Brahmaputra River.
Overnight Stay: Majuli
After breakfast, take the ferry back to the mainland and proceed to Sivasagar, the former capital of the Ahom Kingdom.
Upon arrival, explore the historic monuments of Sivasagar:
- Rang Ghar – Asia’s oldest surviving amphitheater
- Talatal Ghar – a magnificent Ahom-era palace
- Kareng Ghar – the royal palace of the Ahom kings
- Sivasagar Tank and surrounding heritage structures
Evening: Leisure time to explore the local market and sample traditional Assamese cuisine.

After breakfast, continue your journey to Dibrugarh, often referred to as the “Tea City of India.”
En route, visit the historic Charaideo Maidams, the royal burial mounds of the Ahom dynasty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon reaching Dibrugarh, explore the region’s famous tea estates and enjoy a guided tea garden visit to learn about Assam tea cultivation and processing. Visit the scenic banks of the Brahmaputra River and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.
Evening: Leisure at the hotel or riverside.
Overnight Stay: Dibrugarh
After breakfast, depending on your flight/train schedule, enjoy a relaxed morning. Visit a local tea lounge or take a short drive through the tea estates for some final photographs.
Later, transfer to Dibrugarh Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Assam’s wildlife, culture, heritage, and river island life.
