After breakfast, drive to Miao in Arunachal Pradesh and complete entry formalities for Namdapha National Park. Continue towards Deban, the main ecotourism zone of the park. Enjoy evening birding along the Noa-Dihing River and surrounding forests. Overnight stay at Deban Eco Camp.

Spend the day exploring the rich lowland evergreen forests around Deban. Search for species such as Great Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, Blue-eared Kingfisher, Sultan Tit, and various babblers, laughingthrushes, and woodpeckers. Overnight stay at Deban.

Early morning birding along the Haldibari Trail, one of the most productive birding routes within the park. Explore dense forest habitats and riverine areas for rare and endemic species. Return to camp for overnight stay.

Full-day exploration of different forest trails and riverbanks within Namdapha. The park’s remarkable biodiversity offers excellent opportunities for observing hornbills, trogons, broadbills, and numerous migratory species. Overnight stay at Deban.

Drive to Roing via the Bhupen Hazarika Bridge over the mighty Brahmaputra River. En route, enjoy birding opportunities in riverine and agricultural landscapes. Upon arrival, explore the surroundings of Roing and nearby forest patches. Overnight stay at Roing.

Drive through scenic mountain roads to Mayudia, located at approximately 8,000 feet above sea level. The changing habitat offers opportunities to spot montane bird species, including laughingthrushes, sibias, yuhinas, and sunbirds. Evening birding around the lodge. Overnight stay at Mayudia.

Spend the entire day exploring the forests and mountain slopes around Mayudia. Search for high-altitude species and enjoy breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Overnight stay at Mayudia.

Drive back towards Tinsukia, stopping at Nizamghat and other productive birding locations along the route. Explore wetlands, riverbanks, and secondary forests for additional bird sightings. Overnight stay at Tinsukia.

Early morning excursion to Maguri-Motapung Wetland and Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. Explore the grasslands, river islands, and wetlands by boat and vehicle. Excellent opportunities for spotting waterfowl, raptors, storks, and migratory birds. Overnight stay at Tinsukia.

Visit the historic oil town of Digboi and the surrounding Dehing Patkai rainforest, often called the “Amazon of the East.” Explore tropical evergreen forests rich in birdlife, butterflies, and mammals. Overnight stay at Tinsukia.

Drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its population of One-Horned Rhinoceros. En route, enjoy birding at suitable wetlands and tea garden habitats. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris across different ranges of Kaziranga National Park. Search for One-Horned Rhinoceros, Wild Water Buffalo, Asian Elephant, Swamp Deer, and numerous bird species including Bengal Florican, storks, pelicans, and eagles. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. Continue to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of an unforgettable birding expedition through Northeast India.
