Pick up from Guwahati Airport and transfer to hotel. After refreshment, visit Maa Kamakhya Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya, one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. After breakfast leave for Cherrapunjee, until not so long ago, the wettest place in the world. On the way to Cherrapunjee, you can visit the Elephant falls which is located approximately 12 km from Shillong. You will need to climb down 350-400 steps to enjoy these beautiful waterfalls.
Cherrapunjee is the land of gushing waterfalls and picturesque valleys. Some of the main attractions are the Arwah Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Seven sister falls and Eco Park.
